The Teach Yourself the Gospel (TYTG) Series is a collection of Discipleship Study Guides and Resources that present the teachings of The Holy Scriptures (The Holy Bible) regarding JESUS CHRIST and Discipleship in a non-intimidating manner for readers who are new to reading the Holy Bible. The series is being developed and written by Apostle Kelvin and Ramona Franklin. Their goal is to provide individuals with SELF-HELP resources to enable them to READ, STUDY, and GROW into mature FOLLOWERS and DISCIPLES of JESUS CHRIST! The series is written in a modern, easy-to-understand language, is replete with scriptures, and is easy to read, navigate, and digest. The information is simple and direct, and the text uses typography elements like bolding, capitalization, italics, and underlining to indicate important words and phrases to help the reader’s focus and understanding.
The first book in our series is “The Discipleship Journal – A Journal to Help Disciples of Jesus Christ Understand His Holy Scriptures,” and it will be available in our Galilee Publishing Online Store (Click Link) on approximately September 20, 2024. The Discipleship Journal was written by Kelvin, Ramona, and their daughter, Shalanda Franklin, and it answers the questions of Why do I study, What do I study, How do I learn to understand, How do I apply the LORD’s principles to my life, and How does the order of the NT Books teach Discipleship? The journal is 156 pages long, 8×10 inches in size, and it provides 26 pages of instructions on discipleship and approximately 60 journal pages (each journal page covers 2 pages – left and right, providing plenty of room to write), each formatted with eight (8) areas to guide and focus your reading and studying of the Holy Bible.

Kelvin and Ramona publish the TYTG Series through their Galilee Publishing company. Kelvin has been in ministry for 42 years, and he shares the wisdom the Holy Spirit has taught him since his earliest days of reading the Holy Bible when he was four to five years old in this Discipleship curriculum. Kelvin and Ramona are developing the TYTG Series as part of their New Testament Church Movement Ministry of San Antonio. Their ministry focuses on creating disciples through their weekly online NT Church Movement Zoom Bible Studies and by hosting their Rediscovering the Holy Scriptures Disciple’s Reformation Conference which is held annually on the weekend before Thanksgiving in Kerrville, TX.
